The Gist...
Our Strategic Communications Analyst will support the development of strategic and operational communications products such as executive briefings, memos, email communications, and standard operating procedures. They will work with clients to understand, document, and implement requirements for analytical products including reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses.
What Your Day Might Include...
- Develop well founded and defensible solutions by considering alternative courses of action and choosing the most beneficial options to the government when faced with complex decisions.
- Support responses to government questions within expected timeframes.
- Consistently provide insightful responses to government requests in a timely manner to ensure the delivery of the highest quality products.
- Communicate openly and constructively with engagement team members and the government.
- Conduct studies, analyses, and research on customs and border protection policies.
- Document existing policies and procedures to support client decision-making.
- Establish requirements documents.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior-level clients and decision-makers.
- Support data analysis, report and dashboard development activities.
- Provide performance measurement support.
- Technical writing and presentations.
- Facilitation support.
Requirements:
You'll Bring These Qualifications...
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with the MS Office tool suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Teams meeting facilitation.
- Strong analytical capabilities/ability to explore and formulate insights and recommendations based on data analysis (secondary/nice to have).
- Dashboard/data visualization development in PowerBI or Tableau (secondary/nice to have).
