This role in summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking a qualified candidates for a Stationary Engineer - 3rd Shift position to join our team at our Tulsa, Oklahoma manufacturing location. This role will be onsite. The position and shift we have available are as follows:
Third shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
$33 dollars an hour
1.00 an hour shift differential

Your responsibilities will include
Experience troubleshooting high (480) & low (24) voltage electrical circuits- Experience with large tonnage chillers, all related support equipment
- Knowledge of Utilities: electrical, gas,water/sewer, wastewater(pre-treatment).
- Knowledge of HVAC chilled water/steam air handling units,DX units
- Electrical knowledge (VFD’s, power supplies, relays, contacts, etc.)
- Mechanical knowledge (shafts, bearings, chains, sprockets, etc.)
- Read electrical and/or hydraulic prints
- Diagnostic ability to separate mechanical and electrical issues
- Work in a team environment
- Work at heights, withstand temperature extremes and work outdoors when needed
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Stoop, kneel, squat and stand for extended periods of time
- Experience with welding/fabrication
- Air Compressor experience
Minimum requirements
High School Diploma or GED- 3+ years’ experience in repair and maintenance of industrial equipment
- Stationary Engineer Unlimited License
Preferred skills and experiences
Waste water treatment experience (pre-treatment)
- Plumbing experience
