The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Guilderland is currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator. Schedule is Monday-Friday 7a.m. - 3p.m. (40+ hour work weeks hours are flexbile to ensure staffing needs are met each week).
Duties Include:
- Coordinate & plan staff schedules, taking staff needs into consideration.
- Coordinating all staffing requirements in the Facility and Clinics.
- Patiently deal with last minute changes in scheduling.
- Deal with staff call-outs appropriately by following proper protocol.
- Assist with recruitment needs by advising HR of open positions.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements Include:
- Should have excellent computer skills (MS word, excel, outlook etc.).
- Background & experience in staffing preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology a plus.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are required.
- Candidates should be Highly Organized, Professional & Motivated.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to multitask & prioritize.
- Able to work well independently & as part of a team.
- Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.
