Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate (CSRE) is a leading provider of sustainable and resiliency commercial real estate finance across the nation.
Counterpointe is seeking a Staff Accountant to perform daily accounting and administrative tasks to support the finance department. The position will work under the controller and will have growth potential as the role evolves. The primary focus of the position will be, accounts payable management, assisting with the month-end financial close, preparing accounting analyses and reports and supporting administration of company functions including finance and human resources.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field and 1+ years of prior experience.
The position is full-time and located in the company’s Greenwich, CT office.
Responsibilities:
· Process vendor invoices for accounts payable system
· Review expense reimbursement requests for compliance with company policy
· Prepare account reconciliations and other accounting analyses
· Assist in the monthly financial close process
· Perform ad hoc projects as needed
· Support administration of accounting, HR and other company functions
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
· 1+ years of prior experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
· Detail oriented and organized
· Comfortable multitasking
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
