We are seeking a
Staff Accountant
- Hybrid Remote (home/offoce) as part of the Disbursements Accounting Team this role will afford you the opportunity of being a business partner to Treasury, Human Resources, Payroll, Tax, Real Estate and Operations.
Your Impact:
- Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly close processes including preparation of journal entries.
- Involved in all aspects of the External and Internal audit activities.
- Perform analysis as well as assist in reviewing or enhancing analytical processes and controls.
- Support financial due diligence and financial integration of acquisitions.
- Partner closely with various departments within the organization to help review, analyze and implement standards that directly impact the expense reporting system.
- Ensure Balance Sheet accounts are properly calculated, supported, and reconciled.
- Complete other accounting duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.

CPA preferred.
- 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibilities preferably with a large, public company
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Intermediate-level experience using Excel, including the ability to work with complex tables and V-look-ups
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Ability to work within time constraints.
