Lincoln Tech's Corporate Office is seekinga dynamic individual to join our team as a Staff Accountant who will focus on coordinating and managing the Fixed Asset process, as well as collaborate on a number of projects within the corporate finance team.
Responsibilities
- Process Disposal and/or Transfer Requests submitted by each campus
- Follow up with campuses regarding asset tags, for all the new assets.
- Import new assets to Fixed Asset System (FAS)
- Run depreciation out of FAS
- Perform monthly roll forward
- Capex and New Program Budget and Forecasting
- Personal Property Tax asset audits
- Ad Hoc Reporting
- Audit school inventories according to the predetermined schedule
- Obtain physical inventory reports
- Research capital items vs. expenses
- Process journal entries for proper debiting and crediting of General Ledger activities
- Assist with non-routine projects within the financial organization
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- 2+ years' accounting experience
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
