Stable Hand Job at Hickory Grove Farm

Seeking a dependable individual to perform stable hand duties on a part time basis.

Must be 18 yr old + (to operate the tractor)

The duties include: turnout, mucking stalls, rebedding stalls, haying, graining, and watering.

Requirements: Confidence handling horses, availability to work some hours on some holidays, and access to reliable transportation

Available to work 2-3 weekends per month.
Morning chores take ~3 hours. Starting time is flexible; between 6am and 7am.

If close enough to the farm (and desired) there is also availability to pick up some PM chore shifts. This is leading horse into stalls, feeding them hay and grain, and setting hay for the next day. This takes about an hour (at dusk).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
