Location/Division
Pharma Services Groups (PSG) is industry-leading in end-to-end pharma services capabilities to simplify the supply chain for customers We have a patient-centric focus from life-cycle management, commercial packaging, clinical trials mfg, to cell & gene therapy; noting this is not an exhaustive list. PSG has an integrated global network of technical, quality, and customer engagement teams to support the drug development journey. There are ~17,000 colleagues in 55+ global sites. PSG brings medicines to market with expertise, flexibility, and scale.


The ideal candidate will work remotely from their home office in the Waltham, MA or Pittsburgh, PA area; with up to 15% travel.

What will you do?

The Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will partner with the Director, Sales Operations to ensure the tactical execution of initiatives and projects to drive the sales organization towards meeting the criteria for success within the defined sales strategies and objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, combined with excellent analytical skills and a bias toward action and collaboration. Strong process orientation and the ability to influence team members in a cross functional environment are also required. This opportunity allows the individual in this role to develop their career in a challenging yet very high visibility role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization as the business owner of Salesforce.com by partnering with stakeholders to determine best practice solutions drawing on your knowledge of system innovations
  • Drive and manage all day-to-day sales processes and deliverables, including data quality, client ownership, ad hoc data requests, and reporting in a timely and thorough manner
  • Develop and utilize proactive, early indicator reporting metrics to communicate sales performance risks or opportunities to senior management
  • Support the annual sales model assessment and manage the overall sales planning process; help to set the right sales targets for each region and territory by provide supporting market and sales data, and ensure all targets tie to site and business allocations by quarter
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including business partners, members of the IT and marketing to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the commercial organization
  • Provide support for other sales initiatives as needed, including ad hoc requests and special projects
  • Assist with the preparation of presentations to senior leaders
  • Support the Sales Leaders with sales reporting and other analytics as needed; includes developing a standard process for consolidation and reporting of results for all sales teams

How will you get here?

  • Minimum requirements/qualifications are Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum requirements is 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or related Commercial Support role
  • Strong knowledge of salesforce.com and excel is preferred
  • Diagnostics, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences experience preferred
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • The successful candidate should expect 10% - 15% travel
