Under minimal supervision, recruits for technical and non-technical positions. Ensures the best talent is presented to hiring managers.

Responsibilities
  • Provides Feedback about Hiring Needs
  • Works collaboratively with Regional Recruiter to brainstorm solutions to address hiring needs
  • Meets with Regional Recruiting bimonthly to understand hiring metrics and efforts
  • Regional Office team: works with Recruiter to address any challenges resulting from iCims implementation.
  • Holds managers accountable for great candidate experiences
  • Approves closing of Store Postings in case the store is full and does not need support
  • Understands Talent Needs by Store
  • Ensures Pipeline Generation Efforts are in place and producing for every Store
  • Focuses on Hard to Staff Stores
  • Interviews Candidates as needed
  • Meets with Region Team bimonthly to share hiring metrics and recruiting plans
  • Works directly with store managers to come up with creative solutions to staffing needs
  • Organizes hiring events and relationships with local schools/organizations
  • Collects availability gaps from Store Managers to inform hiring needs
  • Conducts iCims or Interviewing Training for Managers as needed
  • Acts as a liaison between regional HR Administration, Office Manager, Regional Training Manager and Executive staff to achieve store hiring needs.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Makes recruiting and interviewing recommendations as required.
  • Initiates contact with appropriate resources to generate more applicants and increase brand awareness included but not limited to social media campaigns and targeted media advertisements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • This position requires a minimum of five years progressive recruiting / sourcing experience or three years of Discount Tire store Assistant Manager experience.
  • Experience developing and executing passive sourcing strategies to creatively attract top talent by using internet sourcing techniques is required.
  • Demonstrated experience providing candidate assessments is necessary.
  • Proven experience of social media recruiting is helpful. Must have a strong drive for results, critical thinking and be teamwork focused.
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship/rapport building skills are required. Intermediate level computer experience, including skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • The ability to work efficiently under pressure, accurately meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization; must be able to clearly articulate ideas both verbally and in writing.
  • Customer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude is essential.
  • In addition, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude and the ability to adjust to changing requirements are essential.
  • Maintaining confidentiality, treating others with respect and upholding Company values is key.
Educational Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sources technical and non-technical candidates using a variety of recruiting methods, including but not limited to, social networking, professional networking, job boards, College/University networking, cold calling, job fairs and employee referral programs.
  • Works with Hiring Managers to interview and fill temporary and contract roles.
  • Investigates new and complex roles and determines campaigns to attract top talent.
  • Informs the Recruiting Team of new roles specific to the Information Technology industry.
  • Analyzes full-cycle recruitment plans and develops effective recruiting strategy for each open position.
  • Partners with hiring managers to clarify position requirements, creates recruiting strategy and sets service level agreements.
  • Develops unique screening and interview questions for each position.
  • Screens candidates and conducts interviews then presents top qualified candidates to hiring managers.
  • Ensures presented candidates fit the culture of the organization.
  • Negotiates compensation and extends approved offers to selected candidates.
  • Creates and maintains a social network presence; establishes relationships to attract and secure top candidates.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with candidates for key positions and future positions; develops strategies to create a usable network of talent.
  • Participates in meetings and networking events; proactively develops relationships with potential candidates.
  • Creates and manages successful vendor relationships to align with recruiting strategy and achieve Company goals.
  • Reviews and communicates immigration matters to contingent workers as needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and regulations affecting recruiting and ensures practices, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
  • Negotiates fees for recruiting firms.
  • Participates in evaluations of new recruiting tools and agencies.
  • Coaches, mentors and trains recruiting staff.
  • Stays current on the latest industry technologies, trends, and strategies; brings forward solutions and serves as a Trusted Expert.
  • Assists employees, vendors or other customers by answering questions related to the recruiting processes.
  • Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.

Normal work days are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.
