JOB SCOPE:
The Senior Manager of Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting will oversee the National Truck Assortment office and reverse inventory logistics team by providing analytics and assisting with strategic decisions to reduce capital investment and increase turnover for $45- $60mm of parts inventory. This role will provide strategic planning assistance to our finance and supply chain leadership by developing, analyzing, and supplying analytics and reporting dashboards for Sears Home Services and parts Supply Chain.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position will provide analytics and inventory logistics recommendations for $45-60mm in parts inventory carried in truck stocks and parts distribution centers. This will include oversight of the National Truck Assortment team to determine the highest turnover and most critical parts assortments for 2,500+ In Home technicians as well as supervision of the Reverse Inventory logistics and reporting manager. As part of this role, the Sr Mgr of Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting will analyze thousands lines of data from internal and external reporting systems and integrate the data into comprehensive reporting tools for use in Supply Chain strategy and business execution.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises the National Truck Assortment Office to optimize technician truck stocks while reducing our overall capital spend on truck inventory without a negative impact to first time completes
• Partners with Supply Chain leadership to deploy the Reverse Inventory Logistics strategy and provides oversight to assist with returns processing as well as partnering with inventory planning team to liquidate excess and obsolescence parts inventory
• Partners with Inventory Planning to develop strategic parts assortments and inventory purchasing plans
• Analyzes and supplies productivity reporting tools for the Parts Distribution Centers
• Recommends depth and breadth on key parts that fit space constraints and to ensure purchases fit within receipt and Open to Buy (OTB) plans
• Manages receipt plans and presents forecasts with action plans at weekly business reviews and monthly OTB meetings
• Supports growth of Senior Inventory Analysts by reviewing planning methods and tools, through delegation of tasks, and execution of development plans
• Builds models using SQL and analytic skillset that aid management in making effective business decisions
• Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree
• 5-10 years of related experience
• 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to communicate, collaborate, negotiate and resolve conflict in a matrix reporting environment
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and a passion for delivering objectives and key results
• Strong proficiency with computers and databases, including Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Supply Chain experience with a mix of allocation, replenishment and planning
• At least 5 years experience in Supply Chain management

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience in business process engineering within enterprises with complex organizational and IT structures
• Tableau report builder experience or similar Business Intelligence tool
• Advanced Structured Query Language (SQL ) code writing experience
