The Senior Manager of Environmental Health and Safety within the Arizona Facilities provides transformational leadership and strategic management to all aspects of EHS across the organization. This individual develops and implements EHS management systems; develops, supports, and leads local EHS teams; and provides technical expertise to leadership.

You Will:

  • Provide leadership and presence at our manufacturing site in Casa Grande, AZ.
  • Provide strategic direction by building a partnership with front-line leadership and collaborating with business partners to train and mentor the production teams and build upon the overall company EHS culture.
  • Development of EHS management systems to effectively address manufacturing and logistics risk profiles.
  • Proactively seek out and leads stakeholders to determine explicit and implicit needs, expectations and current business and growth environment.
  • Educate, coach and influences stakeholders on the development of action plans to improve EHS performance.
  • Create key performance indicators for measure EHS success.
  • Apply leading practices to identify and facilitate improvements to business processes, facilities, and equipment, including capital projects and change management.
  • Own EHS software systems and data and leads continued IT systems investment strategy.
  • Drive circular economy thinking and transformative initiatives across organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional business teams to measure environmental footprint.
  • Manage Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) reporting and communication.
  • Manage occupational health program.
  • Represent EHS organization when interacting with external government, industry, and policy organizations.
  • Drive financial P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, expense management, cost management, and financial reporting to executive leadership.

You Bring:

  • 10+ years of relevant EHS management experience with a bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting as an EHS leader.
  • Knowledge and experience working with global regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Knowledge and experience working with EHS software systems.
  • Proficiency in strategic planning, cross-functional performance management and technical leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to derive business insights, articulate business initiatives and develop recommendations.
  • Experience in systems thinking and problem solving for EHS management technology, innovation, and trends that impact sustainability and financial performance.
