Munich Re America Services (MRAS) is a shared service organization that delivers services to all Munich Re US P&C Companies and other group entities.

HSB is standardizing on Informatica-based technologies for data integration and data governance. This position will be responsible for developing enhancements to the Informatica Enterprise Data Prep product and Informatica Data Quality, along with assisting in the development of integration in Informatica Data Engineering Platform (DEI) The role will also ensure current Informatica-based application perform efficiently. Role will oversee support remediation and product upgrades. Will direct the technical design and coding practices of project and support teams.

Your profile

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years experience as an applications developer

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Project experience with development and support of data focused applications. 3-4 years experience in ETL and SQL database minimum.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the following technologies:
    • Informatica Enterprise Data Prep or similar vendor technology
    • Informatica Data Quality
    • Informatica Data Engineering or PowerCenter
    • SQL
  • Preference to experience with any of the following:
    • Informatica MFT
    • Informatica MDM
    • Informatica Cloud Platform (IICS)
    • Control M
    • Appian
  • Experience with Azure Dev/Ops a plus.
  • Experience in financial services or insurance preferred.
  • Good communications and team work skills are required to work with multiple internal and external partners including application and infrastructure teams.
  • Strong analysis skills.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of management.
