POSITION SUMMARY

As a Sr Data Entry Operator, you will be responsible for entering orders into our business system and identifying appropriate products to fulfill our customers’ needs. You will perform a variety of tasks involved with interpreting more complex customer order blanks, matching product offerings to best fit customer needs and identifying options to tailor each order to the customer’s experience by exercising a degree of independent judgement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives orders from various departments and when necessary, returns improperly coded or incomplete orders to user departments for correction.
  • Accurately read and audit customer order blanks and may request additional or correcting information.
  • Identify product offerings to match a customer’s request on a written or digital order blank along with features/options offered for different product lines.
  • Transcribes, enters, and verifies data from source documents into business system.
  • Maintain high level of quality through set standards.
  • Maintain high level of production through set standards.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

  • Associates Degree in Business Administration or 2+ years of previous data entry experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
  • High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.

  • Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk, hear and see.
