Job Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst will be part of a team that's leading the effort to provide unmatched data insights, using the latest in computing and machine learning technologies. The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for bringing advanced analysis, modelling, and performance measurement on projects across the segment/organization. Clear on the purpose of data, how to capture, manipulate, interpret, and apply it, he/she will demonstrate the value and impact of this sophisticated science to inform performance behaviors and activities. He/she will describe, predict, and improve business performance, while also bridging data and strategy to tell a straightforward and compelling business story.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop data strategy and building measurement framework, KPIs and sophisticated dashboards. Create and foster an environment that maximizes individual potential and values collective results.

Handle and mining of large, diverse data sets, working with both structured and unstructured data. Model complex discovering insights and identify business opportunities using algorithmic, statistical, visualization and mining procedure

Prepare financial/operational reports and ad hoc financial analysis. Interpret the analysis to tell a straightforward and compelling business and communicate this effectively to a wide audience with different business interests and skill sets.

Identify trends and patterns that will help leadership make better business decisions. Perform root cause analysis and partner with divisional leadership and other functional areas to drive proactive solutions through process and technology solutions

Work with multiple locations to determine the right hypothesis to test, to define the right methodologies to query and extract insights and be brilliant in delivery of outcomes and recommendations. Constantly building effective working relationships and developing data-fueled solutions, which helps the business move closer to overall objectives.

Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training of new team members. Participate in the professional development of staff including establishing and monitoring goals, providing performance feedback and mentoring.

Lead and/or participate in business initiatives and special projects.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, or any other related field.

  • 5+ years of experience, preferably as a Data Analyst in a fast-paced and dynamic business setting.

  • Possess exceptional computer skills and demonstrate proficiency in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

  • Previous experience in report creation, modeling, and trend forecasting.

  • Skilled in statistical and econometric modeling, performing quantitative analysis and technological data mining and analysis techniques.

  • Ability to identify the patterns in data, which includes a good understanding of anomaly and pattern detection.

  • Ability to work with large sets of data and establish scalable and accurate analytics systems across several applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters/MBA • 7+ years experience Data Analyst certification, Microsoft Power BI preferred.

  • Experience working in a leading-edge Data environment.

  • Foodservice/distribution experience.
