Job Summary

The holder of this job is responsible for the overall pricing and customer contracting process for the Americas ETP non-Auto Segment business and performs the daily price analytics per the established AMR ETP business needs and guidelines for the purpose of maximizing EBITDA. Additionally, this role is responsible to audit the AMR Non-Auto Segment price book to identify fourth quartile margin improvement opportunities and first quartile customer satisfaction (NPS) improvement opportunities.


How You Can Be the Impact

  • Provide timely (<24 hr) transactional decision support for the commercial sales account manager’s GPP (Global Price Portal) quote requests taking into consideration all aspects of MAS controllership.
  • Drive accurate and consistent documented processes for the monthly/quarterly/semiannual customer price index calculations.
  • Draft New and Renewed External Customer Commercial Agreement Documents for growth and profitably. Secure all approvals.
  • Provide proactive analytics/consultation around regional price book to improve fourth quartile profitability and first quartile customer satisfaction.
  • Provide recommendations to AMR PM during price guideline monthly reviews.
  • Perform selected customer rebate calculations, ensure rebate accruals are in place, and coordinate rebate payments as needed.
  • Execute one self-directed project/tool per year for pricing simplification, sales or analyst productivity, operating efficiency, or profitability.
  • Perform ad hoc analytics as needed for AMR commercial sales managers and their teams for CM/EBITDA improvement.


What Matters to SABIC

  • 4-year degree in either Business Administration (Finance, Economics, Accounting), Engineering, or 3+ years of related industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • In depth knowledge of Excel, data base management, spread sheet modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and mobilize resources in a complex environment.
  • Proven track record of successful project management.
  • Able to operate within all levels of a highly-matrixed environment, and external customers to influence and gain commitment.
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills.
  • Disciplined self-starter, able to work within a remote team/supervisor environment.
  • Fluent in English, conversational knowledge of Portuguese and/or Spanish Languages is considered good but not mandatory.
  • Fanar+ SAP knowledge desirable. VBA programming will be consider as a differentiation
