Hood Engineering and Consulting Services, LLC is seeking Splunk Engineers to join our growing team of leaders to provide professional services to support and secure our nation's critical infrastructure.

Splunk or Splunk-Backend expertise is critical to day to day responsibilities of the position. Resume must reflect Splunk or Splunk-Backend experience to be considered for the position.

Location: Washington, DC

Shift: 100% Onsite, Monday through Friday

The best candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is Required
  • Active Top Secret Clearance is Required
  • All candidates will be checked for U.S. Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance prior to an offer for employment
  • B.A. or B.S. degree and at least 14 years of experience with system engineering, computer science, information systems, engineering science, or engineering management; or 12 years of experience and a M.A., M.S., or MBA.
  • Experience with deploying, maintaining, or integrating using cybersecurity tools, including Splunk, Elastic, Cisco FirePower, FireEye NX, Tanium, or Cylance
  • Knowledge of security architecture design and integration
  • Ability to integrate cybersecurity engineering principles into infrastructure planning, design, and deployment
  • Ability to meet schedule, performance, and quality within the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Ability to provide on-site, full-time support in a client environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
