Aventura at Oakwood Village is seeking a full time Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) for a skilled nursing position in Springfield, OH. We are a large continuing care retirement community, offering services to residents in the AL/IL/ and SNF. We have a beautiful campus and offer many nice amenities to the residents we serve. This unique, in-house SLP position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team of dedicated health care professionals that pride themselves in providing quality patient-focused care. Our Rehab Department has an excellent reputation in the community for providing rehabilitation services. PRN hours may also be available.

Duties Include:
- Evaluate Residents conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits
- Help Residents in their goals to improve Cognition or Swallowing
- Education for Residents and Caregivers
- Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
- Maintain Resident confidence & protects facility by keeping information confidential
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Contributes to team effort
- Perform Daily Documentation
