Speech Language Pathologist Job at Sensory Solutions Therapy and Wellness Center
We are looking for a remote part-time speech language pathologist to serve the Spring Lake Park School District located in Minnesota. You should have extensive experience as a pediatric speech therapist, working with children in various settings.
Position
- Part-time (20 hours/week) Speech Language Pathologist
- Hours/days: flexible
- Start Date: ASAP
- Elementary School K-4 (articulation, language, fluency). Small groups of 2-4 at a time.
- Preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Skills
- MUST have Valid Minnesota license to practice speech language pathology
- BS degree or greater in speech language pathology
- Extensive experience with evaluation tools (Selects appropriate SLP assessment tools and methods in order to accurately determine the patient's status to develop an optimal treatment plan).
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide screening, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and plan of care.
- Select and adapt the appropriate speech therapy treatment model, method and approach to direct the process of interventions for each individual.
- Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
- Communication with parents, teachers and caregivers (Therapy outcomes will be communicated with parents and teachers at the discretion of the service provider).
- After each session conducted, the service provider will document a detailed daily session note in a timely manner, as per electronic documentation utilized by the Board of Education.
