Southern Foods is looking for a full-time Store Clerk to join our Cheney Express Store team in Greensboro, NC. This motivated individual will be helping with the daily store tasks and provide exceptional customer service by phone or in-person to the customer's inquiries.

Duties/Responsibilities

· Phone sale quotes and product availability

· Order entry (customer order for seafood/Meat shop)

· Check computer for orders per customer specifications

· Transferring calls to proper associates or departments if needed.

· Product restocking, rotation, and replenishment of fresh and frozen items

· Knowledge of inventory items

· Ability to perform basic math skills for cashier transaction

· Handling of money & confidential credit card information

· Maintain a professional and positive attitude

· Perform all other duties as assigned and required or directed by management as changing situations arise.

· Possess great customer service skills, dependable, honest and trustworthy

· Maintain a professional, positive attitude and good work ethic.

· Warehouse/Pallet Jack/Forklift certification and/or experience a plus

Mon-Friday 8am-5p rotating Sat 4hours 8am-12p
