Job Description Summary:
The Clinician Sourcing Specialist is responsible for implementing and managing all aspects of current and long-term sourcing strategies to hire top caliber physicians and advance practice providers (APPs) for independent physician practices. A critical component is developing new, creative recruiting ideas, employing traditional and non-traditional sourcing strategies to identify and recruit candidates. This role will report to the Manager, Provider Relations and work closely with the Vice President, Talent Acquisition & Physician Recruitment.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
  • Implements and manages all aspects of current and long-term sourcing strategies
  • Supports development of position descriptions in collaboration with independent practice leadership
  • Provides primary source verification on key credentials
  • Provides initial screening, as requested by practice
  • Develops weekly data reporting of vacancies and candidate pipelines
  • Identifies and represents the independent practice association (IPA) at hiring events, job fairs and networking events
  • Supports practices in developing interview process, as requested by practice
  • Develops IPA relationships with residency programs for pipeline development; facilitates networking and presentation opportunities
  • Works with IPA practices to plan for physician and provider retirements and departures; develops timelines for recruitment
  • Collaborates with communications team on advertisements
  • Participates in the development of growth strategy as it relates to physician and APP talent
  • Advise on compensation, and market variables for provider and practice staff talent
  • Adheres to the company’s Compliance Program and to federal and state laws and regulations
  • Travel up to 25%
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Healthcare industry experience working with provider groups required
  • Understanding of practice staffing needs, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other clinical and administrative staff
  • Familiarity with Colorado primary care market and/or residency programs
  • Demonstrated track record of building a pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Strong Project Management skills with experience managing several projects simultaneously
  • Experience using customer relationship management tools, such as Salesforce
  • An engaging and approachable personality with the ability to negotiate win/win outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively in a rapid growth, fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Can present data and translate complex issues into comprehensible ideas in a concise and easily understood manner

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of recruiting physicians
  • Experience in primary care, family practice and internal medicine settings and knowledge of value-based care models
  • Advanced talent sourcing experience (networking and cold calling)
  • Home office that is HIPAA compliant for all remote or telecommuting positions as outlined by the company policies and procedures.
