JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION SUMMARY

Entry-Level position that reports directly to the Manager of Project Solutions and is considered a crossover position between the IT Department and Operations. Directly assists the Manager of Project Solutions in ensuring that all parts of the company are fully integrated and trained in Standard Operating Procedures for various software including but not limited to CMiC, Procore, P6, Bluebeam, etc. Essential in assisting with testing and creating new processes that benefit the company as a whole and ensure that Operations-related solutions are running smoothly and efficiently. Build repour with fellow employees by repeatedly delivering results and information-based solutions.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Startup Responsibilities

  • Creates new projects from a standard project template in Project Management Software
  • Sets up new projects in a timely manner once requested by the CDCC Project Team
  • Initiates and Manages job-specific training for all new jobs, including but not limited to, the CDCC Team, Subcontractors, Owners, and Architects/ Engineers
  • Maintains the flexibility to assist project teams with misc. issues throughout the workday

Financial Dashboard & Ticketing Monitoring

  • Monitors the Financial ERP Dashboard within the Project Management Software on a daily basis
  • Collaborates with the Project Team on any items of question that come across the ERP Dashboard
  • Develops and completes weekly to monthly ERP Dashboard Reports based off of data exchange

Monthly Newsletters

  • Takes ownership of the Monthly Project Solutions Newsletter
  • Publishes the Newsletter consistently (Same time and day of month)
  • Takes care to keep the Newsletter fresh and fun, bringing new ideas to the table

Testing of Operations Solutions

  • Knows and Understands CDCCs current SOPs and process workflows
  • Capable of expanding these SOPs and creating new process workflows that benefit the company as technology advances
  • Functions as a key member of the Project Solutions team and is continuously testing and questioning processes and working on building out better practices and SOPs
  • Willing to learn the Operations side of the business by spending time in the Field and with Project Teams

Data Entry Responsibilities

  • Manages the input and updating of correct user data, company data, project data, etc. in the Project Management Software

Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Some trainings or meetings will take place at job sites. The majority of work completed at job sites for this position is in an office trailer or in an existing structure. Due to daily condition changes on construction projects, when employees are outside of the office trailer or structure, they must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as required by the company's safety policies and as required for weather conditions.
  • This position may require short periods of travel as needed to various job locations, such as South Carolina, Tennessee, etc.
  • The majority of work for this position is in an office setting, with intermittent sitting, standing, and walking.
  • The majority of this work will be performed in-person in the CDCC Main Office in Gainesville, GA

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Architecture, or related field plus 1 to 2 years of experience in working as a part of a team.
  • Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC), iPad, and company communication tools, such as E-mail, Internet, Mobile Applications, and Microsoft Products.
  • Demonstrates solid presentation skills and verbal/written skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management skills and the ability to self-manage.
  • Experience in Public Speaking or Group Training preferred.
