The Big Tasks of a Solar Installer II

  • Lead a team of Solar Installers to the successful outcome of roof installations
  • Work directly with PM/PC to schedule work and achieve expected outcome
  • Advanced knowledge at solving problems on the fly and keeping teams on task and productive
  • Responsible for assisting PM/PC with the material procurement and managing supply on hand
  • Responsible for all company provided tooling and equipment
  • Ability to train Solar Installation Teams Members on best practices and industry standards
  • Take responsibility for personal and electrical safety on the job site by following and enforcing all safety regulations
  • Basic understanding of electrical interconnection to Grid
  • Knowledge and understanding of solar installations from roof through to the inverter

Key Tasks of our Solar Installer I

  • Load or unload building materials to be used in construction
  • Layout solar panel designs on residential rooftops and confirm fitment
  • Install provided roof flashing attachment points
  • Install Solar panel rail systems for attachment
  • Install PV cabling system and micro inverters per design documentation
  • Install solar panels onto flashing and rail systems
  • Follow strict safety guidelines
  • Work closely with a team to complete tasks
  • Perform structural upgrades for rooftop systems
  • Full understanding of all materials related to rooftop installations
  • Working knowledge of provided design and site plans specific to each customer
  • Seal systems and penetrations against weather and leaks
  • Independent understanding of all tasks related to roof installations

License/Certification:
