Pay Grade
Pay grades 5, 8, 10, 11, and 12 , depending on qualifications.
$60,000 up to $115,900

The base salary range represents the starting and expected pay for this position. Actual salaries may vary and in some cases may be higher with extensive experience and strong performance.

Collegedale, TN

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Sunday - Friday, off-hours emergency support.

Hybrid work model (up to 3 days per week remote)

Job Summary

You will join a team of software professionals who work closely with our Planning and Order Fulfillment department to develop and support custom applications with a focus on supply chain solutions. You will be a part of the entire spectrum of the development process from requirements gathering, designing, coding and testing to deployment and ongoing support.

  • Collaborate with business partners to understand business needs and identify potential technical solutions using software development best practices such as SOLID principles, clean code, and design patterns.
  • Design, create, and maintain software by analyzing, testing, assessing and implementing programming applications based on business priorities and guidance from management and senior software engineers
  • Primary development environment will be Microsoft Visual Studio using C# and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) using .NET 7.
  • Develop applications that communicate with Oracle and MS SQL Server databases
  • Help to quickly and reliably debug and solve complicated system issues

Required Qualifications

  • A four-year college degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Some demonstrable application development experience in a modern development IDE
  • Working knowledge of relational database systems and operation
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using PCs and Microsoft Windows applications
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Strong desire and ability to learn new skills and technologies
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Able to work effectively in an Agile development framework

Preferred Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of .NET or related development experience
  • Microsoft VB.NET and C# language knowledge and experience
  • Use of git repos for source control
  • Familiar with Azure DevOps and its integration with Visual Studio
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft’s Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
  • Experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server database environments
  • Experience with Scrum methodologies
  • Experience with IIS Hosting for WebAPIs
  • Experience using Telerik controls for WPF
