It is the responsibility of the Slot Shift Manager to oversee all slot operations on the casino floor during assigned shift. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.

Position Requirements

Education/Experience:

1. Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.

2. High School Diploma or its equivalent required.

3. Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university, or two (2) to four (4) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of both.

4. Minimum of five (5) years of slot operations experience and at least two (2) years personnel supervisory experience.

5. Game performance experience desirable.

6. Knowledge of casino rules, regulations and procedures.

Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:

1. Must possess excellent communication skills.

2. Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.

3. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.

4. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
