Rebel Mining Company, LLC needs several Site Technicians with the ability to work independently and eliminate mobile data-center downtime. Our technicians are knowledge experts – Are not micro-managed – Expect others to trust them that when they say the job is done, it is done – Are willing to share their expertise. This is a job for the computer technician focused on perfection.

Through advanced operational and networking procedures, RMC can deploy and maintain sites in excess of 250 megawatts (MW). Positions Expectations:
As an experienced data technician, you are already familiar with the equipment, industry standards, and expertise required. RMC also needs more.
- Respond/update “Running Tickets” with technical details, schedule/coordinate further troubleshooting, maintain and/or initiate hardware replacement requests
- Install heavy servers (up to 40lbs) on a consistent basis, under all circumstances in an outdoor environment
- Rack, stack, decommission, power cabling of equipment within the critical facility
- Inventory management of copper, fiber, and power cord with little to no guidance.
- Participate in data center deployments consisting of unpacking hundreds of ASIC servers in various environments
- Ability to work variable schedules as necessary to achieve 24/7 operations
- Employ preventative maintenance for efficient operation
Requirements for our candidates include:
- Strong technical communication skills and organizational practices
- Proficiency in current types of networks and hardware infrastructure
- In-depth knowledge of circuit board & computer equipment repair
- Available 24/7 via phone for any outages and or priority escalations
- One year of computer/technology support or technical degree
- Network certifications are a plus
