Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Material Handler/ Shipping and Receiving Clerk position in the Portland, OR area. The person in this role should have prior shipping experience, be able to multi task, stock shelves, unload trucks, and help with any receiving activities
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay: $19.00-$20.00HR
Shipping and Receiving Clerk Responsibilities:
- Ship & Receive freight via common carrier
- Ship & Receive freight via UPS World Ship and Fed EX
- Prepare bill of ladings and shipping documents for domestic and international shipments
- Ensure that Shipping/Receiving area is kept clean and in order
- Using power tools to build, open, and disassemble wooden crates and pallets
Shipping and Receiving Qualifications:
- Must have (3-5) years Shipping/Receiving experience
- Must be proficient using UPS WorldShip system
- Must be able to be forklift certified
- International Shipping experience preferred
- Intermediate computer skills including Word and Excel preferred
- Strong ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to organize and manage priorities
