SharePoint Application Developer

Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking a SharePoint Application Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full Time (regular) Exempt (salaried) position. This is a telework eligible position, however, candidate must be within a 90 minute drive of Patuxent River, MD 20670 and be able to visit the customer site at Patuxent River, MD 20670 for initial onboarding.

Where Technology, Innovation, and Collaboration come together... The qualified candidate will become part of DESI's IT Services Group supporting the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) in a wide range of leading-edge Information Technology products and services within the Naval Aviation Enterprise.

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform the full range of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities including analysis, design, development, test, deployment, and support within an Agile project environment for custom SharePoint-based web applications.
• Troubleshoot and maintain custom SharePoint applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps and Power Bi) applications.
• Maintain, test, and support custom workflows with Nintex, and/or Power Automate.
• Assist with the development of user interfaces and branding of SharePoint and SPO sites.
• Develop standard operating procedures and user documentation related to SharePoint and SPO sites.
• Assist in SharePoint site administration, testing, quality assurance, and custom development.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:

• High School (HS) diploma.
• BA/BS and three (3) years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above -OR- Associates degree and seven (7) years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above -OR- HS/GED and nine (9) years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above.
• Bachelor's or Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar is preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Experience troubleshooting SharePoint, SPO, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps and Power Bi) applications.
• Experience developing custom SharePoint solutions with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• US citizenship is required due to US government contract requirement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
• Experience with React JS application development to include the use of the REST and/or Graph API within the SPFx.
• Active SECRET clearance.
