We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team and support our global ServiceNow platform at IDEXX. The ServiceNow team is a small and extremely collaborative group of diverse individuals possessing unique skillsets and 25 years of ServiceNow experience combined. The team is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our ServiceNow environment.

As a member of this team, you will get to work with many areas of the organization to deliver new ServiceNow capabilities that create operational efficiencies and improve employee experience. You will perform a variety of systems related analytical activities to support application functionality, integrations, and performance. What You Will Do In This Role:
Work with IT product management to understand business requirements and translate them into solutions within ServiceNow
Design and implement ServiceNow solutions using service portal, workflows, business rules, client scripts, discovery, service mapping, integrations
Maintain and enhance existing processes and workflows within ServiceNow
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions within ServiceNow
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to workflows, forms, reports, and integrations in ServiceNow
Provide technical support to end-users related to processes and workflows within ServiceNow
Stay up to date on ServiceNow releases and share feature opportunities with stakeholders
You may be required to respond to high priority ServiceNow issues outside of business hours (this is uncommon)

What You Will Need To Succeed:
3-5 years’ experience in a ServiceNow technical rol e, 2-3 years of which is with ServiceNow Service Portal, Orchestration, Workflow, CMDB (Configuration Management Database), Discovery, Service Mapping, Integrations, Mid Servers
Experience with Update Sets and promoting through multiple environments
Basic understanding of JavaScript code
Understanding of adhering to out of box and best practice principles, and knowing when and how to deviate with a custom solution without impacting the platform
Excellent customer service and business relationship building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within teams
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find root cause
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, including ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences

Plus:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
Experience with frontend and backend development
Experience implementing solutions with JavaScript
Experience with PowerShell, JSON, REST/SOAP Web Services, APIs
Understanding of ITIL
Bachelor’s degree (Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred)

Base annual salary target: $85,000- $95,000 (yes, we do have flexibility if needed)
