The role

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and strong performing HD Fitters to join our Orange workshop team.

As a Service Technician, you will be performing machine inspections, decommissioning reports, full machine rebuilds, component rebuilds, preventative maintenance, and repairs of a range of specialist mining equipment with OEM product training available to support you in the onboarding process.

Areas of responsibility

  • Maintain a safe work environment and encourage a strong safety culture.

  • Perform fault diagnosis, maintain, and repair mining equipment.

  • Maintain inspection test reports and documentation.

  • Support technicians from other regions and assist in training.

  • Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously.

  • Actively contribute to the organisation and efficiency of the workshop, ensuring quality is not diminished while achieving timeframes.

Your Profile

Essential

  • Mechanical background and relevant certification.

  • C Class Manual Driver Licence.

  • Proactive, self-motivated and demonstrates initiative.

  • Ability to think outside the box and find solutions.

  • Strong and proven safety culture.

  • Strong customer service focus and motivation to achieve targets and goals.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Solid computer literacy.

Desirable

  • Previous experience maintaining mobile mining equipment.

You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job & the ability to pass a pre-employment medical.
