Job Summary:

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients as well as maintaining and repairing pool equipment. To ensure success as a pool service technician, you should have excellent knowledge of swimming pool equipment and maintenance, be able to work with hazardous chemicals, and interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.

The Service technician is also responsible for maintaining and following all Bennington policy and procedures established in the Handbook.

Job Responsibilities:

• Service repair and general maintenance of all pool related equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, chlorine generators, salt systems and automation)
• Replacing globes in underwater light fittings.
• Fixing cracks or leaks in the swimming pool structure.
• Fitting and repairing pipes and plumbing for spas and pools.
• Servicing and fixing faulty pool cleaning equipment.
• Equipment installation
• Open and winterize swimming pools in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain proper chemical balances for the pool.
• Completing paperwork and reporting service requirements to management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Pool Technician.
• Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties are preferred
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Professional appearance.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Bennigton office.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Lansdale, PA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Pool service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
