Dealership is looking for an experienced Service Manager with outstanding leadership and CSI skills. Ford franchise experience a plus, but not required. Relocation for the right candidate is available. Report to the Fixed Ops Director ensuring that the service department meets all financial & CSI oriented goals

  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them
  • Monitors operating budget for the service department
  • Manage workflow through the department in the most efficient manner
  • Lead department to achieve performance targets and high customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for finding areas needing improvement of the service department by developing, maintaining and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and company/factory policies
  • Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
  • Acts as a professional and knowledgeable liaison with factory representatives
  • Trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all service department staff, fostering professional employee development to determine need for advanced training
  • Establishes and maintains good working relationships with vocational and technical schools to enhance personnel recruitment
  • Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees
  • Attends managers meetings
  • Maintain the highest level of integrity in all aspects of the department
  • Makes customer satisfaction a department priority, ensuring that service personnel are courteous and respectful in their interaction with customers
  • Handles customer complaints immediately and according to dealership's guidelines
  • Maintains safe work environment by conducting inspections and training for shop staff

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of Service Manager experience in a franchised automobile dealership required
  • Stable Employment History
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Reynolds Ignite and Advanced Service experience
  • Fluent with web-based technology
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly and proficiently
  • The ability to work, respond and coach in a fast-paced environment
  • An attitude of coaching and growing people into over achievers
  • Self-motivated enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Professional appearance and work ethic
  • Consistent and stable work history
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Pre-employment background check, and drug-screen required prior to being hired
