Responsible for enhancing patient and family satisfaction by collecting and recording their food selections. Assists in ensuring that patients receive foods/meals according to their prescribed diet. Adheres to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
Requirements:
Knowledge of modified diets a must, Intermediate language, intermediate math, intermediate reasoning ability.
10-key calculator, personal computer, mainframe information systems, windows and DOS.
Must have the ability to interact positively and accept customer/patient complaints as an opportunity to do a better job. Ability to communicate in a professional, courteous manner.
Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians while performing their job duties.
