Description:Lockheed Martin RMS - Owego is seeking a highly motivated, senior level Test Engineer to perform scope of work requiring knowledge and experience with electronic circuit systems and electrical power distribution. This position will also require experience with automated test equipment and software in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting in-process electronics manufacturing testing of sub-assemblies through development and integration of hardware testing, and developing a sustainment plan to maintain testability throughout the life cycle of the product.

Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Generating Quality Notifications (QNotes), implementing hardware/software updates, STE certification/calibration, test plan development and test procedure management (i.e. development, release and maintenance).

The successful candidate will primarily support Flying Probe, Boundary Scan, and Spectrum Test development and Equipment. This is mainly a first shift position. However, business needs may dictate support on weekends and overtime.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training/experience is required.
Basic Qualifications:
To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or technical equivalent/experience
  • Familiarity with practical uses of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, logic analyzers, etc.
  • Experience with evaluation/troubleshooting test failures using diagnostic methods and tools
  • Experience in electronics, control systems, signal processing (digital/analog), RF circuits, electrical power distribution.
  • Software programming in Labview, C, and/or C#
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work in a dynamic, team-based environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows based PCs to
include but not limited to the following: SAP,
EPDM, LabView, JIRA
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity/experience with creating programs for Teradyne In Circuit Testers, Takaya and/or SPEA Flying Probe Testers, Asset InterTech Spectrum Functional Testers
  • Working knowledge of including but not limited to ScanWorks platform

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
