The CCB Data Pipeline is a modern technology platform used by software engineers and non-software engineers to move and transform data throughout the bank. We run on multiple platforms, including private and public cloud. We are proud of our superior engineering practices and expect this pride of ownership from all members of our team.

This role is specifically as a Technical Lead for the Death Star scrum team. It is a hands-on role focusing on foundational features in the product backlog which are cross-cutting in nature, affecting the entire product, such as observability, security, test automation and technology lifecycle management. The person right for this role will have functional leadership responsibilities over several junior software engineers and will require the person to have strong coaching and mentoring skills.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

• Hands on experience with JPMC technology standards such as Jules (and all underlying technology including AIM), Bitbucket, OSS & Static scanning, GKP/GAP, Photon, SEAL
• Interest in staying well versed in JPMC standards and new requirements and desire to understand how to bring large, complex platform into compliance with those standards
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
• Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages
• Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
• Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Passionate about building an innovative culture
