Reports to: General Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: Recruitment Team

The Senior Recruiter is a leadership position that will lead recruitment and fulfillment for the Hawaii-based Recruitment Team members of AlohaHP. The Senior Recruiter shall serve as an outstanding internal leader focused on leveraging enterprise capabilities for maximum team member and client impact. Therefore, the Senior Recruiter will develop a clear understanding of the enterprise mission, strengths, and opportunities, in order to represent the organization with pride, excellence, and a strong sense of community in all endeavors. As such, the Senior Recruiter is expected to have the matured ability to communicate across with clients, team members, and leadership.

Essential Functions

Recruitment

  • Maintain strong knowledge of current market conditions and advise candidates as needed.
  • Attend job fairs and/or hiring events as needed.
  • Build a dynamic and quality pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Manage all candidate communications through phone calls, texts, and/or emails.
  • Screen resumes to identify qualified candidates.
  • Perform initial interviews with qualified candidates and match them to appropriate positions
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.

Fulfillment

  • Partner with the Staffing Manager to ensure all newly onboarded temp staff members are being added to our staffing platform and scheduled for their shifts.
  • Present offers to candidates and engage in negations.
  • Manage background checks, drug tests reference checks, and assessments as needed.

Evaluation

The Senior Recruiter will meet regularly but at minimum annually with the General Manager to create a Recruitment Strategy and Roadmap for the year. This plan will include projects, desired outcomes, target dates, as well as professional development goals. At the end of each year, the Senior Recruiter and General Manager will review progress toward the annual goals.

Key Performance Metrics

  • Conduct a minimum of 14 interviews per week
  • Submit a minimum of 10 candidates per week
  • Close $45K in direct hire fees per month
  • Close $15K in temp fees per month
  • 100% completion of hand off sheets for temp work
  • Minimum of 1 positive candidate review per quarter

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (transcript with the date degree conferred stated is required for employment)
  • 3+ years of progressive experience responsible in full-cycle recruitment
  • Experience managing direct reports and driving their success and professional development
  • Ability to create systems and build upon operational plans to build a culture of continuous improvement
  • Proven proficiency tackling complex problems that affect clients and work to resolve them with innovative solution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Slack and other technology tools

Desired

  • 3+ years of management experience
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in the Food and Beverage/Hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms or scheduling applications as well as Job Adder
  • Experience with a start-up organization

Compensation Package

  • Salary range of $50,000-$70,000 depending on candidate’s breadth and depth of experience
  • Commission of all placed employees
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plan

Working Conditions

The physical office is located at 1500 Kapiolani Blvd, Suite M4. The Senior Recruiter shall be expected to work in person as necessary; remote work will be permissible based on performance and prior arrangements with the General Manager. Must be available to work some weekends as necessary for fulfillment. The Senior Recruiter must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
