Summary / Primary Role:
In this position as the Senior Quality Engineer, we are looking for someone that is both willing and able to both perform a quality lead position to mentor others but also be able to apply your experience to the practice of ensuring software quality. This is not a simple tester role, success in this role will come down to your ability to think outside-the-box to come up with both scenarios and testing practices that will create the industry leading digital experiences for our customers. This includes but is not limited to ensuring standards are met around test strategy and scenario design, writing and maintaining automated tests and testing frameworks, and testing from the positive and negative perspectives. Lastly, but just as critical as functional requirements testing, this role will be responsible for ensuring non-functional build quality to ensure quality is enforced at all levels of the technology solution.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

· Communication of testing results as input to release procedures
· Collaboration and coordination of testing activities within and across the teams
· Building and communicating functional and non-functional testing strategies
· Define and maintain test data management strategy
· Define and enforcing good practices around test case management
· Developing and ensuring test scenario documentation standards
· Defining and communicating and automated testing strategy
· Building and maintaining automated tests
· Mentoring other team members in terms of testing principles and best practices

Qualifications and Key Skills:**
(The following are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills or ability required for this position)
· 5+ years of experience working in an agile team environment
· 7+ years of experience building functional and non-functional testing strategies
· 3+ years of experience testing cloud-native solutions
· 5+ years of experience testing integration APIs and other system-to-system integration patterns.
· 7+ years of experience with Test Case Management software (i.e. Quality Center, QTest)
· 7+ years of experience writing and maintaining good test cases
· 5+ years of experience writing automated tests using tools (i.e. Selenium or QTP)
· 3+ years of experience defining and installing test automation frameworks
· Experience mentoring and growing other team members
· Strong communication skills, both oral and written, in English
· Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work harmoniously with a diverse team

Work Environment:**
Normal office environment with some remote work.

Physical Demands:**
Must operate normal office equipment such as a phone, computer, and copy machine. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
