We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to join our team, focusing on market rate properties in a student housing locale. The Satellite Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple properties ensuring high occupancy and resident satisfaction while completing annual lease-ups with an emphasis on leasing goals. Details

Salary: $95,000 to $105,000 annualy and DOE. Exempt.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week 9 am - 5 pm

Properties: Parsonage Apartments, Russell Hall Apartments, University Manor and Campus Apartments. Four properties with a total of 296 units.

Relationships

  • Reports to the Portfolio Manager
  • Interacts with property owners and their representatives in a professional manner and in conjunction with all Principals at Blanton Turner.
  • Manages property staff as applicable to the property/satellite. Mentors, leads, coaches, and empowers the team to achieve the best result possible for the property and Blanton Turner.
  • Interacts with residents and tenants with the highest level of customer service and positive, will-do attitude.
  • Works proactively with business partners including all vendors and other personnel serving the property and its residents.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a Team; You will lead an Assistant Property Manager, Leasing Manager, Leasing Agent and a Maintenance Team.
  • Maintain the Physical Asset
  • Lead and Report on Marketing and Leasing
  • Manage Financial Performance
  • Create, Manage and Adhere to an Approved Budget.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in property management or related field.
  • 4-year college degree preferred.
  • ARM or CPM designation &WA Real Estate license desired or obtained within the first 6 months of employment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Fair Housing, state and federal housing laws required.
  • Computer literate; proficient with productivity software including MS Office, Office 365 and Dropbox.
  • Experience with YARDI Voyager 6.0 and PayScan desired; ability to learn quickly required.
  • Customer service experience preferred; excellent customer service, communication skills and writing skills required.
  • Able to prioritize duties and efficient time management skills required.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, friendly, professional and proactive manner with others (including office and on-site staff); active listening skills required.
  • Ability to be creative, flexible and to drive change.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining both perspective and a sense of humor.
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Ability to take ownership and demonstrate a positive, can-do, customer focused attitude.
  • Willingness to try new and different approaches.
