Senior Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)

Our Southeast Water business is growing throughout Florida! We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead project teams in performing water treatment, wastewater treatment, collection, distribution and stormwater studies, design and construction engineering services throughout the state. You will also lead new client development and strategic growth of the business both locally and regionally.

Additional responsibilities will include:

• Lead proposal development efforts for new business
• Grow relationships with existing and prospective clients; this includes business development, sales and marketing
• Lead or assist in the development of facility and or utility master plans
• Perform and/or check design calculations
• Participate in on-site testing, startup or troubleshooting of water or wastewater facilities or infrastructure
• Conducts work to appropriate professional standards and to the firm’s QA/QC requirements. Participates in QA/QC programs for other projects as requested by managers.
• Perform schedule reviews on construction projects and maintain/develop design schedules for design projects
• Provide mentoring to engineering staff to support the team's technical skill development

Successful skills & qualifications:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer license is required
• Between 10-20 years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal water, wastewater, water resource, and/or conveyance projects in the Southeast region; preference to 10 years of experience in the Florida market
• Significant experience in pumping station and pipeline design
• Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
• Ability to present technical information, both written and orally, in a concise and professional manner; must have strong technical writing skills
