The
Woodward PA Sr. Action Sports Photographer will be an essential member of the Marketing team, reporting to the Woodward Camps Marketing Director and Marketing & Production Supervisor.As a critical function within the marketing team, this person will work closely with the Marketing Team to capture weekly and daily deliverables at Woodward PA that support the marketing plan.
It is critical that the photographer is not only successful in capturing content, but also comfortable editing and exporting in a variety of web formats. They must also be comfortable working with children and pro athletes of different sports, engaging with them to set up different shots when necessary.The role is highly collaborative and strong communication skills are essential in building momentum around Summer Camp 2023.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage time effectively in order to capture all necessary items on Woodward's summer shot list
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to support the content plan and capture all of the various content needs
- Identify "in the moment" opportunities
- Highly organized delivery within the photo management system - properly tag, categorize, and store all digital assets
- Report back to Lead Photographers on project timeframes and priorities
- Work collaboratively with others to execute multiple projects at once
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS
- 10+ years of experience in related field or equivalent portfolio
- Expert in Adobe CC, Photoshop or Lightroom
- Expert in aspect ratios for social media and web platforms
- Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team, and to lead teams in achieving goals.
- Health and Safety Certifications:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, comfortable presenting and deploying new technologies
- Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time
- Demonstrate broad technical knowledge of management techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills.
BASIC SCHEDULE/REQUIREMENTS
- Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.
- Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines
- Must be comfortable working in an indoor and outdoor all-season environment.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Camp Attendance Requirements
- Pre-Camp
- Summer Camp Season (June 5th- August 27th)
- Post Camp
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- As a requirement of this position, pre-hire criminal history clearances are collected from the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH) system, child abuse clearances are obtained through the Department of Public Welfare, and federal history is taken through FBI fingerprint screening.
