Our client seeks a highly technically skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer. Our client is located in DTLA has an amazing reputation in the entertainment and sports world

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for configuring and maintaining infrastructure hosting services including servers, operating system builds, storage, hosting, configuration management, asset lifecycle, virtualization, cloud solutions, backups, and disaster recovery, ensuring high-level system availability. The successful candidate will also be an expert in supporting the bank's public Azure cloud and have extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code ensuring smooth delivery and operation of IT services.

Technology and Innovation Division

As a Technology & Innovation group member, you will drive, develop, and maintain solutions for clients and colleagues. This is an exciting time of technology advancement and innovation across the bank, particularly within our technology teams.

· Primarily oversee on-premises infrastructure and modernize leveraging cloud capabilities

· Develops and executes Data Center migrations, including application and core infrastructure services.

· Support the Datacenters, remote locations and public cloud environment in maintaining hardware, software and automation systems

· Create monitoring baselines and proactive instrumentation

· Increase automation by applying AIOps principles

· Participate in compliance and IT Risk initiatives, including internal and external audits when required

· Define data governance policies and procedures like disaster recovery plans

· Develop and maintain documentation relating to all assigned systems

· Maintains contact with vendors, industry peers, and professional organizations to keep informed of existing and evolving industry standards and technologies.

· Provide oversight for new technology implementation and design.

· Provide 3rd level support for the Infrastructure hosting team

· Work in a team environment on project driven work with minimal supervision

· Participate to the on-call rotation

· Perform after hours support and implementation, including weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
