About the role

The Senior Graphic Designer will have extensive experience in both print and digital media and will deliver on a wide variety of marketing materials for a variety of brands and audiences. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of how marketing campaigns work and is able to manage the process from start to finish on their own, operating efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position will work simultaneously on multiple projects and collaborate closely with the VP of Marketing, Creative Director, as well as other members of the Marketing team and internal clients.



What you'll be doing

  • Fulfill requests submitted by properties for marketing collateral ranging from flyers, banners, bandits, and social graphics to trade show booths, signage, and promotional products
  • Conceptualize and deliver a wide range of design templates, video graphics, motion graphics, animation and editing for social media, websites, digital advertising, email marketing, product training and tradeshows.
  • Partner with marketing, creative and other internal teams to collaborate and present strategic design initiatives that unites the visual style consistently across the brand to produce attractive and effective designs for full spectrum of company collateral and media and for a variety of brands.
  • Responsibilities will also include communicating project-related vendors (printers, signage companies, photographers, etc.).
  • Update and maintain evergreen collateral by keeping standard pieces such as property overviews, rack cards and floor plan handouts up to date with current information and photography
  • Assist with vendor management tasks including ordering and invoicing
  • Assist in maintaining photo and video library

Typical Physical Demands: Regularly use hands to manipulate tools, controls, phones, and computer keyboard. Frequently stand, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, and stoop. Sit and stand to do clerical work. Regularly lift and move office supplies up to 20 lbs.

Work is performed in an office. Employee frequently interacts directly with community management, facilities management, residents and other staff members during the workday.

Who we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Administration or Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design or related area
  • Minimum of 8 years in professional design
  • Preferably with internal marketing department or creative agency
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, Acrobat, Premiere, After Effects)
  • Experience with MS Office and MAC platform
  • Looking for someone who has a problem-solver attitude and can work independently to manage their day-to-day workload as well as proactively bring forth new ideas
  • Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
