Leffler Consulting is seeking a Senior Momentum Financials® Business Analyst to join our team in Washington, DC. The candidate will perform DoD Agency data integrity and data analysis for the accounting/budgeting system (Momentum Financials®– core product). This includes working closely with the Momentum Financials® Table Maintenance Specialist to conduct complex and detail financial data analysis, extract data for financial statement auditors and develop/execute quality data control procedures. The position is on-site and requires an active Secret clearance (JAFAN eligible).

Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical assessments/acceptability of software
  • Represent customer on various technical review and inspection teams
  • Obtain, compile, and summarize information for use by others
  • Ownership of the problems and requests assigned, focus on managing and resolving

issues

  • Work with database engineering to develop strategic solutions to recurring problems
  • Analyze and recommend alternatives and options for solutions
  • Reconcile and evaluate the content, accuracy of table and any effect on General Ledger

and subsidiary accounts

  • Reconcile and resolve Momentum Financials® data discrepancies
  • Analyze and extract data from the Momentum Financials® database
  • Satisfy data requests for the CFO Compliance Audit Remediation team
  • Communicate technical issues to non-technical customers both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrate problem solving, conflict management, and team building skills in order to

ensure a productive work environment and achievement of goals

  • Interact with the system users and identify solutions
  • Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with SAP Programs is desired
  • 4+ years performing functional analysis
  • 4+ years in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues• 2+ years’ experience with documenting processes and procedures
  • Experience with Momentum Financials®
  • Understanding and developing SQL queries for troubleshooting data integrity
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Salary varies according to position level and experience ($80,000-$215,000)
