Sr Leader, Commercial Product Marketing & Proposal Services
Reports to Chief of Sales (SVP). As the Senior Leader for Commercial Product Marketing & Proposal Services this position will have primary responsibility to work with and develop a strategic go to market strategy for targeted commercial lines of business. In addition, this position will have responsibility for MVP’s proposal services department. Proposal services manages the intake process as well as the maintenance and updating of a knowledge library. Strategic and well positioned RFP responses is critical to positioning MVP in a competitive position to win new business. This position will supervise the Commercial Marketing & Communications team, ensuring efficient and timely workflow and completion of duties. Create, plan, and provide marketing and communication solutions designed to help retain existing members and acquire new membership. Manages staff including hiring, training, motivating, and developing PA goals and tracking. Manages budgets for functional area. Develops communications strategies and communication plans that translate to quality RFP responses. Implements communication tasks using different mediums, including letters, email, sales collateral, videos, presentations, etc. Produces content and manages the review, approval, and distribution of content through the appropriate internal and external channels. Collaborates with subject matter experts and sales leads, company-wide, to develop and present complex information to a variety of constituent groups. Develops clear, well-organized, and understandable presentations and proposal responses. Provide M&C leadership on cross-functional teams. Proofs and edits content for other Marketing & Communications functional teams. Analyzes campaign results. Maintains and promotes MVP brand and communications standards. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance issues as they exist and change from time to time. Performs other related duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education:
BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field.

Minimum Experience:
5-7 years’ experience in Corporate Communications and/or Marketing.
Experience in the health care industry required; Commercial plan experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience managing complex communication efforts/projects.

Required Skills:
  • People management including motivation, managing accountability
  • Proficiency in MS Office software: Word/Outlook/PowerPoint/Excel
  • Experience with Constant Contact or Marketing Cloud a plus
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills
  • Strong marketing fundamentals
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven ability to keep projects on schedule and on budget
  • Strong strategic and analytics skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with short deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to drive projects to conclusion with minimal supervision & a high degree of initiative and flexibility
  • Demonstrated ability to create copy, review, and edit for print media materials
  • Demonstrated ability to create, edit and manage presentation development
  • Excellent communication skills including – written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
  • Able to occasionally work irregular hours and be available for occasional travel
