Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team. The right person for this role will be proficient in AWS, Kubernetes, Service-Mesh, Prometheus, Vault, to name a few and Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence, Postman, Slack, Github. This can be a full-time remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Good understanding of DNS, networking L3-L7 and how machines actually execute the code we write
  • Error Budgets, SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs are some of the things you are looking forward to implement
  • You bring a forward-thinking, authentic approach to the important work of expanding home health care services for older adults.
  • You'll be working in a dynamic relationship with other teams as we develop our product, so excellent communication and collaboration skills are a must.
  • You are not bound by legacy and conformity; you seek out the big solutions and advocate for the best ideas.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience
  • Knowledge: Ability to read and write some code, mostly in Golang, Experience working with CI/CD pipelines as code (we use Github Actions), Experience with container and provisioning technologies, Docker, Containerd, Helm, Terraform, etc., basic understanding of the Linux operating system and you know your way around the console, Understanding the core methodological aspect of DevOps
  • Personality: You're passionate about using tech for good and pushing digital products to the next level. You're flexible, multifaceted, and know how to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm: You need to be a self-starter with a passion for creating pragmatic automations that combine regulatory needs with a great developer experience.
  • Education: Completed university studies (bachelor's degree/diploma/PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics or a comparable subject
  • Languages: Proficient in English as we are located in Hamburg with our corporate headquarters in San Francisco
