Summary

The Continuous Improvement Specialist will enhance organization performance by partnering with Human Resources employees to identify and implement needed changes. Specifically, the transformation will include improving business processes, driving results by providing greater focus to business & system challenges, creating efficiencies through innovative solutions, with a focus on standardization, process optimization and improved governance.

Responsibilities

60% - Program Management

  • Drive process improvement initiatives across Human Resources, supporting organizational objectives, maintaining compliance standards and optimizing process & system efficiency.
  • Build relationships at all levels of the organization to facilitate collaboration across business departments and functions to deliver desired program outcomes.
  • Compile and maintain an HR project roadmap to highlight resource requirements and upcoming process changes, enabling better collaboration across the function.
  • Utilize Lean methodologies to lead continuous improvement initiatives across HR.
  • Support change management efforts for projects under HR Operational Excellence area of focus.
  • Standardize and streamline HR processes, responsibilities and accountabilities to support MyHR Connection optimization and efficiency.
  • Support Employee Central BPO resourcing, targeting business processes that relate to system design concerns/issues.


40% - Analytics

  • Identify opportunities to use automation and data to improve system performance, as well as highlighting key talent trends/insights.
  • Support initiatives through analytical projects, providing strategic insights, and requirements documentation to the organization.
  • Lead the creation and governance of the HR analytics and reporting strategy that drives efficiency, effectiveness and data driven decisions
  • Drive the delivery of a comprehensive analytics and reporting practice to support both business and HR decision making
  • Identify meaningful metrics for the HR elements in strategic initiatives and develop measurement methodologies that provide company leaders with insights and perspective
  • Provide management support to the HR function in the areas of people metrics, and advanced and predictive analytics.
  • Research and analyze data to identify trends, uncover potential issues and develop recommendations.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or associated field.
  • Work experience may offset degree requirement.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Certification
  • Strong understanding of process and process design, including leveraging technology to achieve.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, inter-personal, problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities, including report writing, requirements gathering and system knowledge.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize projects and deliverables, and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and ability to initiate and lead change.
  • Creative and change-oriented continuous improvement process skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or Operational Excellence functions
  • Experienced in leading process improvement initiatives
  • Experience collaborating with other stakeholders to achieve tasks (IT, HR, Business Units, etc.).
