We are currently seeking a Senior Commercial Market Executive to join our Commercial Lending Team. In this position, you will be setting the direction for the Commercial Region. Senior Commercial Market Executives are responsible for managing the bank’s largest portfolio, assisting lenders with major and complex loans, and providing leadership for the organization. You will also be expected to serve on the loan committee as a rotating member. You will participate in developing, analyzing and finalizing major and complex loan agreements with representatives of large and mid-sized companies. Your ability to mentor, provide guidance, and train staff will help ensure lending activities are moving in the right direction. You will contribute to the overall profitability of the bank by setting and implementing business development goals for the department, implementing cost controls, and monitoring expenses to ensure compliance with all bank policies and procedures.
To be successful as a Senior Commercial Market Executive at Middlefield Bank you will have:
In-depth knowledge of the legal, technical and regulatory aspects of as they relate to consumer loans, commercial loans, construction, and real estate loans- Bachelor Degree with a concentration in business or finance. MBA or advance degree preferred.
- Ten years of experience in the financial services industry with strong background in lending, credit and business development.
- The ability to read, write and interpret complex business and technical documents.
- Excellent mathematical skills with the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as ratio, and trend analysis.
- The ability to communicate complex concepts and effectively present information to customers, senior management, and the board in verbal and written format.
