Senior Clinical Training Specialist Job at May Institute
May Institute is seeking a Senior Clinical Training Specialist to provide in person and remote training and consultation for the division of Home, School, and Center Based Services. This position is responsible for leading and developing a variety of training activities including implementation of onboarding for new staff as well ongoing professional development for current staff. The ideal candidate has experience working with autism spectrum disorders, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and comorbid mental health conditions, teaching communication, and managing interfering behaviors. Up to 20% of the role would require travel (in MA and potentially to other states) to provide hands on support to our programs.

Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and skill-based training and onboarding to new staff in orientation and assess new hires progress during training.
- Responsible for ongoing professional development of current staff
- Assist in the development and implementation of new or revised training initiatives
- Train staff in the areas of assessment, teaching language (i.e., applied verbal behavior), social and adaptive skill developments across contexts (direct care, consultation, parent training)
- Master’s degree required
- Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA, MA)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience providing applied behavior analytic services to children with ASD and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities
- Minimum of 1 year staff training experience
