Job Summary

Reid & Wise LLC is an international law firm that represents individual and corporate clients in complex commercial litigation, general corporate law, and high-end business immigration. Our offices are located in class A buildings in New York, Los Angeles, and Shanghai (licensed by the Bureau of Justice of China to practice law in Mainland China). Much of our practice involves representing clients in US-China cross-border litigation and transactions. Over the years we have built up a diversified practice and a friendly working environment. In an effort to expand our practice, we are seeking attorneys with expertise in general corporate law and IP law for our New York office.

Office space in CBD Class A buildings.

Monthly draw and other compensations.

Cross-selling, referrals, and collaboration between different offices.

Assistance from legal, administrative, and accounting/tax staffs.

Global malpractice insurance coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

Serving the needs of existing clients of Reid & Wise in the New York area.

Develop business for New York office. Meet and negotiate with potential clients. Maintain good client relationship.

Supervise and train associate attorneys.

Coordinate with other members of the Firm to develop marketing strategy for the global market.

Develop and promote Reid & Wise law firm culture and brand name inside and outside the law firm.

Qualifications and Skills

Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in practicing corporate law or immigration law.

Preferably have a portable book of business and history of production.

Must be comfortable managing junior legal staffs.

Must be highly motivated and capable of developing and following through on strategies to successfully resolve diverse and complex matters, and be able to coordinate with attorneys from other offices.

Fluency in Chinese is a plus.
