Senior Accountant Job at Prestige Staffing
Summary
- This role reports to the Accounting Policy and Reporting Manger. In this position, you will be responsible for recording, reconciling, and maintaining the fixed assets in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Specific Responsibilities
- Perform fixed asset and construction in progress account reconciliations
- Review construction in progress accounts for proper accounting and project coding
- Implement Net Assets software and validate the data imported
- Record fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation entries
- Communicate with the operating and development teams regarding projects status
- Review capital expenditure request forms and evaluate the proper accounting
- Assist in providing external audit requests
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required
- 2+ years of public or private accounting experience is required
- 1+ years of fixed asset experience is required
- Experience using NetSuite or similar system is preferred
- Intermediate skills in Excel is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
