WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Supporting Sales team customer engagement with on-site evaluation, technical issues, and providing a detailed scope of work including pricing.
• Providing recommendations to the sales team as far as optimal equipment and technologies required for each project.
• Maintaining and updating CRM software with project estimates.
• Assisting the sales process with hands-on demonstrations.
• Re-evaluating sold projects prior to installation to ensure that equipment and services sold are procured from economical sources.
• Overseeing submittal process to design firms and or municipalities/agencies involved in obtaining permits and approvals for booked projects.
• Conducting meetings with Sales Representatives and customers to present project approvals.
• Creating AutoCAD drawing of projects during the sales process and Asset sheets for installed materials.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or at least 5 years of related technical design experience or commensurate combination of education experience.
• Must possess a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of IT Networks infrastructure, servers, routers, etc. to properly design IP based security solutions and communicate scope and responsibilities with the customer.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers and personal services.
• Knowledge of practical application of engineering science and technology.
• Knowledge of principles and methods of showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
• Possess willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; utilize personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to potentially hazardous materials, lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; be able to handle semi-frequent stressful conditions (cardiovascular), frequently work in outdoor weather conditions, frequently move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally ascend/descend a ladder, operate a motor vehicle, frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.

On Call for critical systems maintenance may be required. First shift hours Monday – Friday, with occasional 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends depending on project schedules.

Travel as necessary to support company and customer needs.
